To
succeed in business, employees need to have the ability to present information concisely and effectively. Over the past 14 years, I have taught business people presentation skills.
Public speaking is one of the most common fears. Presentation skills go
far beyond public speaking. I teach my participants that every interaction with
another person needs presentation skills including interactions with your family and friends.
In each class I teach, I ask participants if they need to improve. Of
those who are scared of presentations, most say they do a good job. Then after
class is over, they say they learned so much and wished they had taken a seminar such as this much earlier in their career. Good presentation skills are an asset to help you stand out from your competitors
in the marketplace.
This seminar presents the idea
that “every interaction with another person is a presentation.” Participants
learn the importance of presenting themselves well when meeting new people, attending meetings, delivering business proposals
and doing group presentations. Video taping is used as a powerful training tool
so each participant can see their performance and be motivated to grow their skill set.
