The
objective of this seminar is to help you incorporate logic into your decision making process.
I think the world today has evolved into a series of illogical decisions
where we have actually convinced ourselves that we used logic. We make decisions
based on people’s opinion instead of thinking for ourselves. We make decisions
based on past history instead of acknowledging the changes in the world and the need for updated methods and direction. We make decisions based on incomplete information instead of taking the time to scan
the environment to actually look at the facts. And too often, we limit our options
by jumping at the first or second idea presented. Logical decision
making means we gather the facts, and proceed towards a conclusion while staying focused on our mission, goals and values. We seek to understand the past but we still must focus on the future definition of
a successful decision.
In
this seminar, participants will learn to gather the facts, determine which facts are relevant and learn how to avoid common
thinking mistakes that can impair effective decision making. In addition to the
seminar, management teams can participant in an extended offering where the logic principles of the session are incorporated
into a facilitator led meeting to address one of the organization’s needs.
