I am sure you are
wondering, "What does Max have to do with Sutton Seminars?"
Max is a teacher
in his own right. He is a beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a very positive attitude. He has gone to
dog shows but never won anything. And yet, this does not get him down. He has fun instead. He plays, he
barks, he holds staring contests with his male counterparts. And no matter what the outcome, he always has a positive
attitude. For him, each day is a new day filled with new adventures and new hopes.
I think we can
actually learn a lot from our K9 and feline friends. You see as people, we have the ability to get down on ourselves.
But our animal friends, with their smaller and less developed minds, have a diminished capacity for self-pity and sorrow. They wake up each morning ready to undertake the challenges of the day. They see each day as a new adventure and begin anew with a positive attitude, looking to make the most
of their day.
And this is the greatest lesson of all!
